Here are the frequently asked questions about the festival...

If you have any other questions just click the "ask question" button at the bottom...

How does the festival work?

That's easy. The festival is across 3 days. Friday 28th July to Sunday 30th July. THREE evening shows, and TWO afternoon shows.

The main difference is that our AFTERNOON shows aren't just run-of-the-mill shows! They are well known comedians off the telly doing their FULL hour long preview tour shows before they take them around theatres. So the AFTERNOON shows combined last over 3 hours in total. You can come and go as you please to the food van, pub, toilet, local business stalls, or even home to check on the kids/dog/fish.

Afternoons run from 1pm til around 5:45 and evenings run from 7:30 to about 10:15 so there's even time to go home if you want between the afternoon and evening, but we'd recommend using that time to rest your aching sides and cheeks, and topping up your glasses!

Other than that, the shows work exactly as usual.

How much are tickets?

EVENING ONLY £20 (Friday £24)

AFTERNOON ONLY £24

AFTERNOON & EVENING £40

WHOLE WEEKEND PASS £85

VIP WEEKEND PASS (no queueing and reserved seating) £115

Where is the show? Our shows are outdoors at The Farmer Inn, in their large pub field in Catherington - PO8 0TD

Will I get sent tickets? Not physical ones. When you buy tickets you will get sent an email that says *THIS IS YOUR TICKET*, but your name will also go down on the gate guest list anyway, so you'll get in, don't worry!

Can we bring food and drink? No. The outdoor shows and festival are on private licensed land of The Farmer Inn pub, and there is an indoor bar, outdoor bar, pub food and food vendors on the site, so please do NOT bring your own food and drink. We want to support the pub who have been so supportive of our shows over a tough few years, so if you are seen eating and drinking your own food and drink you will be asked to stop, or asked to leave.

What if it rains? THE SHOW ALWAYS GOES ON. Bring clothes for all weathers. Sun cream. Jumpers. Swimming costumes. Raincoats. If you decide you don't want to come because it's too hot or wet, then we can give you a credit for a future show. Just message us more than 24 hours in advance.

Is it ok to bring dogs and children? Yes if your dog is quiet and wont get too stressed during loud crowd reactions and loud acts on stage. No to children, but yes to very new born babies as long as they too won't get upset around the noise. Basically if your dog or baby are likely to disturb the audience, and you don't want to take them off for a walk if they start barking/crying, then please let them at home (with a babysitter naturally). Teenagers over 16 are allowed if they come with parents.

Is there parking? Yes, but where ever possible we strongly advise to walk, get a cab or car share where you can - there is FREE parking at the pub itself, as well as FREE parking around 50 yards past the pub on the left in a public car park, and about 100 yards past the pub on the right in the All Saints Church car park. You can also use the Jubilee Hall public car park on the roundabout as you enter Catherington.

What time does it start? The afternoon shows start at 1:30 and the evening shows start around 7:30pm and finish around 10pm. The gates open around 6:15pm for the evening and midday for the afternoon.

Is food and drink on sale? Yes our shows are in a pub garden so food and drink is available. There are also various other food vendors on site for the festival! Please don't bring your own.

I can't come! What happens? Get in touch and if we can we will try and resell your ticket, but in most circumstances we will just give you a credit for future shows with Comedy Under The Stars or Comedy All Stars. We do not give refunds as there are always comedy shows to move your tickets to.

Does the show take card payments? Yes you can buy food, drink AND tickets at the event using card.

How does seating work? You will be taken to your seating space, YOU HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS (camping or garden). You will not see the stage if you sit on the ground.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. Bear in mind it is a field, so not completely flat, but it is all on one level, as is the access to the toilets and bar.
